Jaguar Spur, driven by Richard Stillings, set a track mark here in the 14th race at Scarborough Downs Sunday afternoon in win the the 11th $60,000 President's Pace.
The horse, the 1987 Little Brown Jug champion and the third fastest pacer in the history of the sport, circled the Downs' half-mile layout in 1 minute, 55 and three-fifth seconds to pick up the victory and track record.
Jaguar Spur paid $5.40 for the win, $2.40 for place and $2,20 for the show.
This finish erased the previous mark of 1:56.1, set by Antoine earlier this year.
Runnymede Lobell, driven by Yves Filion, was second ($2.40, $2,20) and Automatically, driven by Bruce Ranger, was third ($3.20)
