Driver Drew Campbell cemented his lead atop the Scarborough Downs’ Leader’s Board on Sunday (4/17), steering four horses down victory lane, including three consecutive winning drives behind Elegant Eve, Shagon Again, and Lucky Strike. The fourth came in the $5,400 feature trotting event, where he engineered a sterling gate-to-wire performance with the aptly-named, Showoff N, the third consecutive win for the chestnut trotter.

Driver James Hardy had a four-win performance on Sunday’s (4/17) 14-race program at Scarborough Downs; one with pacer, No Shoes, trained by Bo Sowers.
Showoff’s victory in the feature also resulted in a grand-slam for top trainer, Randy Bickmore, whose four-win skein also included Eagle Bette, Theta Blue Chip, and Pictonian Leo.

Joining Bickmore and Campbell in four-win performances, was driver James Hardy, who vaulted into second place on the Leader’s Board with four wins of his own – three for Bickmore; the fourth with No Shoes, trained by Bo Sowers.

Live racing returns on Friday, April 22, as Scarborough Downs expands to a 3-day-a-week racing schedule. Post times: Friday and Saturday at 4 pm; Sunday at 1:05 pm.
