Hello Everyone,

It looks like our bill will not be taken up on the floor of the house until sometime next week. We continue to have strong support in both the House and the Senate, but the opposition has been out in full force at the capitol the last three days, good news, so haven't we. We had a good turnout of horsemen and stakeholders on the 3rd floor today holding up signs, and some really good contacts were made. If we continue to outnumber the other side we will be a force to be reckoned with once this hits the floor of the house.

I will continue to keep everyone posted on the progress of the bill's schedule. Tomorrow, the house is in double session and we will be up there again in the hallways if anyone can make the trip. Friday is a state shutdown day and then we have a three day holiday weekend, so we need to keep up the calls to our legislators.
