Allen Burdick, Jr. passed away early this morning after a sudden illness.

He was a long time member of the USTA as an owner, driver, and trainer and raced throughout the United States and Canada. His last start was as a driver was in 1996 at the Rochester (NH) Fair. He was planning on returning to Maine this summer to help his son, Mike, race at Scarborough and the fairs.

He went peacefully with his family  by his side. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet, six children and many grandchildren.
