Rita Sumner, mother of Daniel (DT), Robert, Ken & Patti Sumner has died at the age of 71. The Sumner family have been involved in Harness Racing for many years. Her obituary is posted here.

Another long time horseman has passed on. Wesley Brown, Sr. of Bangor, ME died after a long illness. Friends may call at Mitchell & Tweedie Funeral Home in Bucksport, ME Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. His funeral service is on Monday, May 2, 2011.
