Seelster Farms announced today that Western Maverick has been sold to Dupuis Farm of Saco, Maine.
Western Maverick will be the first World Champion on a half mile track to stand in Maine and his service fee for 2011 will be $2,000.
The twelve-year-old son of Western Hanover previously stood at Seelster Farms' nursery outside Lucan, Ontario since embarking on his stallion career. His leading performers to date include millionaire Deuce Seelster and multiple stakes winners Simply Mavelous and Magic Maverick.
