How the judges saw the finish of the winners-over pace at Bangor Raceway on Saturday
The Donald Richards trained mare was challenged early as Tough Broad (Steve Mahar) pushed for the lead, and the two fillies battled up the backside. Seaside got to the rail just before the quarter pole and recorded a first panel in :27.4.

From there the lead was never in question as Seaside and driver Mark Athearn set fractions of :57.4, 1:26.4 and the finish in 1:57.3.

In the co-feature, the winners over class at Bangor saw the return of Rodeo Du Ruisseau. With a driver change to Ron Cushing, Rodeo left from the seven hole for the lead, only to be denied by classy veteran Rupert Rupert(Heath Campbell). Rodeo Du Ruisseau eventually got to the rail in second, but Rupert Rupert would not get a break as Dream Well (Charlene Cushing) kept up the challenge.

As Dream Well faded at the 5/8ths pole, more company was coming as Town Fool(Shawn Gray) and Malek Hanover(Mahar) started their bids three and four wide up the backside, but they weren't able to keep Rodeo Du Ruisseau contained at the rail. Western Cyclone(Athearn) and Take The Risk(Greg Bowden) were also within striking distance, just waiting for traffic to go their way.

Rodeo Du Ruisseau crossed the wire first in 1:57.1 with Malek Hanover, Town Fool, Western Cyclone, Take The Risk, Rupert Rupert and Dream Well following. Fractions were :27.0,  :56.4, and 1:26.4.

Bangor Raceway continues its fall meet for two more weeks, ending on Saturday, November 13.
