Garrett Mosher captured his first racing victory Saturday at the Skowhegan State Fair. He was piloting
Fireball Fred in the Maine Amateur Driving Club race and completed the mile in 1:57.4 after a three wide
move approaching the quarter pole. It was only his second pari-mutuel start in his career.
Garrett is a graduate of Messalonskee High School and is currently working on a business degree at Kennebec
Valley Community College. His future plans are to work in the finance industry and to continue the family
tradition of racing horses. The 21-year old is the son of Gary & Michele Mosher and the great grandson
of Merle Mosher.
