Driver Kevin Switzer followed up on Saturday’s six-win performance by hitting a grand slam at Scarborough Downs on Sunday (4/25) parading victoriously four times during the matinee program.
Switzer’s most dramatic win came in the $6,000 Free-For-All event (Second Division) as he mounted a stirring rally with top-class mare, Gracie Gracie, owned by Sharon Proctor and Fred Ward, Jr. of Brunswick, Maine. Gracie Gracie recorded the fastest time by a mare yet this season at Scarborough, pacing the mile in 1:58.2. It was the 20th career victory for the 7-year-old daughter of Albert Albert.

Switzer’s prolific weekend vaults him into third place on the Scarborough Downs leader board after just two weeks back in action.
