Drew Campbell held the hot hand at Scarborough Downs on Saturday (4/5) securing four wins from the eleven-race program while serving strong notice that he was more than up to the task of defending his 2013 driver’s title.

Included in Campbell’s win tally today was JJS Jet, who scored his second consecutive victory, timed in 1:56.3, the fastest clocking yet of the young season at Scarborough.

Campbell’s other wins were with Champaign Charley (1:59), Run To Vegas (2:00.2) and Diana Blue Chip (1:58.4).

After two sessions of the 2014 season, Campbell resides at the top of the Leader’s Board with five wins to his credit.

Live racing resumes Sunday afternoon with a 1:05 pm post time, and will continue next weekend on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule, all beginning at 1:05 pm.
